| Hi All, I recently had my 91na in the shop to swap out my 98 jspec transmission (making metal and had a lot of play which was beating the crap out of the rear end after only 60k miles). With the cost of the swap back to my throw-down transmission, plus the cost to rebuild my jspec one, I was in the poor house for a bit. When I inquired about the hesitation near idle and @ 3,000 rpm, I was told that it was probably the airflow meter and/or throttle position switch. I figured I could easily swap both of those components so I called my local dealership for a parts quote, to which I almost had a heart attack. They apparently want $521 for a new airflow meter and $158 for a new TPS. Being that I am a fairly die-hard Nissan parts advocate, I hated the prospect of it but I had to try aftermarket after seeing the potential cost savings. I ended up picking up a Beck-Arnley TPS (158-0384) for $53 and an AFM from Chandler Motorsports (CMS22680-30P00) for $45. Both parts work as well as OEM (at least for now) and I saved $581. Just thought I'd share the info as I was always curious if these aftermarket parts were worth a darn (I guess they are, as the hesitation is gone and it runs like new). Ryan
